Backflow Prevention, Inc (BPI) is a local company who specializes in
helping commercial accounts maintain compliance with State and Federal
EPA regulations for protecting the public drinking water system. Last
year hospitals reported over 10,000 cases of illness were attributed to
bacteria entering the public drinking system. This stems from
inadequate check valves in older buildings where a cross connection
failed between the drinking water distribution main and a contaminant
source where backflow or backsiphonage occurred.
Illinois American Water Company is inspecting all commercial facilities
that do not have a testable backflow prevention device for compliance.
If Illinois American deems you need a new device, you will have 90 days
to comply. Many organizations have not budgeted for this capital
expenditure this year. That is where BPI comes in.
We provide our customers with a high level of service at a minimal cost AND provide several payment options.
If you are required to install a testable backflow prevention device in
your commercial facility: we provide acquisition, installation, service
and testing of all backflow devices.
We install all leading national brands in approximately one day at 20% less than the industry rate.
